(UTV | COLOMBO) – Economic centres island-wide will remain open both today (12) and tomorrow (13).
The State Ministry of Agriculture said all economic centres will remain open only for wholesale trading.
Accordingly, economic centres in Dambulla, Thambuththegama, Nuwara Eliya, Keppetipola, Narahenpita, Meegoda, Piliyandala, Ratmalana, Veyangoda, Welisara and Nawalapitiya will be open while adhering to health guidelines.
The State Ministry added, essential service providers and mobile vendors can present their permits and purchase goods from economic centres, despite centres being open only for wholesale trade.
