PM Harini Amarasuriya Begins India Visit; Meets Jaishankar to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya began her official visit to India today with a meeting with Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar in New Delhi.

Dr. Jaishankar, in a post on X, said he was pleased to meet the Sri Lankan Prime Minister and discussed India’s continued support to Sri Lanka.

He added that the talks focused on strengthening cooperation in key areas, including education and capacity building.
