(UTV | COLOMBO) – The 2020 Parliamentary Election was successfully concluded yesterday (05) at 5.00 in the evening with a voter turnout that exceeded 70 per cent island-wide, the National Election Commission (NEC) stated.
The counting of ballots of the Election has commenced at 71 counting centres across the country.
The first result is expected to be announced between 2.30 to 3.00 this evening (06).
