(UTV | COLOMBO) – A tense situation has been reported after university students commenced protesting opposite the residence of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa down Wijerama Mawatha.
Inter University Students Federation members commenced a protest march from the Colombo Fort Railway station this afternoon.
IUSF members had announced that they are heading to Galle Face green via Maradana and Borella.
