Sri Lanka seeks US-based law firm for debt restructuring

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Cabinet Spokesman Ramesh Pathirana told a media briefing today that Sri Lanka would use a US-based law firm to restructure the debt.

It is noteworthy that such an announcement was made while Sri Lanka was awaiting the assistance of the International Monetary Fund, according to some sources in the Ministry of Finance.
