Twelve-member Ministerial Consultative Committee appointed

(UTV | COLOMBO) – President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has appointed a 12-member Cabinet of Ministers to take decisions on investment promotion.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has appointed a 12-member Cabinet of Ministers comprising President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa to take decisions on investment promotion.

Through this committee, decisions will be made on tax transfers, potential impacts on national security, use of public funds, legal obligations, environmental issues, land use and ownership, banking and financial matters and investments proposed by investors in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Ministers Chamal Rajapaksa, S.P. Dissanayake, Pavithra Vanniyarachchi, Mahinda Amaraweera, SM Chandrasena, Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Foreign Ministers Duminda Dissanayake, TV. Sanaka and Nalaka Godahewa have been appointed to the committee.
