(UTV | COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara and Puttalam districts, stated the Meteorology Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces and in Mullaitivu district after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm can be expected at some places in Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the morning.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
