Number of COVID-19 patients rises

(UTV | COVID-19) – Three more patients tested positive for COVID-19 today (25), raising the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka to 420.

Accordingly, 304 patients among the infected have been reported as active cases.

Meanwhile, 183 individuals are admitted to various hospitals on suspicion of having contracted the Virus.

According to the Ministry of Health, 109 patients, including 108 Sri Lankans and a Chinese woman have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals.

Seven deaths due to COVID- 19 have been reported thus far in Sri Lanka.
