Another group of Lankan students repatriated from India

(UTV | COVID-19) – Another group of Sri Lankan students who were stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake today (25).

The group consists of 163 Sri Lankan students, and were repatriated from Mumbai, India.

The students were repatriated by a special flight chartered by the SriLankan Airlines.

The Ministry of Foreign Relations has taken steps to repatriate Sri Lankan students stranded overseas, based on requests made by the students to return to Sri Lanka.
