(UTV | COLOMBO) – Co-Cabinet Spokesman Minister Udaya Gammanpila says the Central Bank has issued funds to obtain fuel from two vessels at the Colombo Port.
Accordingly, out of the 37,000 MT of fuel, 10,000 MT will be given to the Ceylon Electricity Board.
Earlier today, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) agreed to provide 1,000 MT of fuel daily until 22 January to the Kelanitissa power plant.
