Yoshitha seeks Rs. 500 mn from MONLAR for defamation

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the second son of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, has issued a Letter of Demand (LOD) through his lawyers to the Movement for National Land and Agricultural Reform (MONLAR) for levelling for accusing him of owning a hotel in the Sinharaja Forest Reserve.

Rajapaksa has demanded that the MONLAR must pay a sum of Rs. 500 million as damages and compensation within 7-days.
