Why Was a Drone Flying Over Sri Lanka’s Parliament for Hours?

A drone operation was conducted within the Parliament premises for several hours yesterday, Parliament sources said.

A parliament official said that the Parliament premises was video recorded to produce a documentary. 

Officials from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and representatives in Sri Lanka were also involved in the task.

Drone operations are conducted periodically to ensure security in the Parlaiment premises.
