(UTV | COLOMBO) – Water supply to many areas in Colombo will be suspended for 14 hours states the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) states that the water supply to many areas in Colombo will be suspended for 14 hours from 8:00 p.m. on 05th March until 10:00 a.m. the next day (06).
Accordingly, the water supply to Colombo 07, 08, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 areas will be suspended during that period.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board also stated that water will be supplied to Colombo 02, 03 and 11 areas under reduced pressure.
The cause for the water supply interruption has been given as an essential maintenance work.
