(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Vass Gunawardena, who is serving his sentence at Welikada Prison, has contracted COVID-19, the Department of Prisons stated.
Gunawardena has been transferred to the infirmary for necessary treatment.
