(UTV | COLOMBO) – Amid Delta Covid-19 variant rapid spread, the Government of Sri Lanka took major actions to expedite its vaccination campaign.
Accordingly, the army launched vaccination centers that work around the clock so at least 400000 doses would be jabbed daily.
Vaccination has hit an unprecedented level in Sri Lanka according to the website “OUR WORLD IN DATA”.
Moreover, about 12 million people have received the first dose.
