(UTV | COLOMBO) – Visiting U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said his country seeks to strengthen partnership with democratic, peaceful, prosperous and fully sovereign Sri Lanka.
Addressing a joint press conference, he said the Sri Lankan garment factories undertook hundreds of orders to supply high-quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPP) to the United States.
He said the U.S. provided over US $ 600 million in assistance to fight COVID-19 which he said came from Wuhan, China.
