(UTV | COLOMBO) – An Extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued to create two new Ministerial portfolios.
The Gazette states that two Ministries will be implemented as the Ministry of Technology and Investment Promotion and the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment.
The Gazette was undersigned by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday.
Political sources claim businessman Dhammika Perera will fill the vacant National List seat of the SLPP and is tipped to be appointed Minister of Technology and Investment Promotion.
