Two COVID-19 patients escape from IDH

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Two patients tested positive for COVID-19 have escaped from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) last night (19).

The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the COVID-19 (NOCPC) said that a woman and her son had escaped from the hospital.

According to NOCPC, the woman and her son had escaped while receiving treatment for the coronavirus last night (Thursday).

A search operation was launched to locate the two coronavirus patients who are residents of Eheliyagoda.

The Police had later found the son at a house in Eheliyagoda.
