(UTV | COLOMBO) – Any individual who travel to another province via byroads during the period of travel restrictions to be prosecuted under the Criminal Law, the Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said.
The decision has been taken in line with the travel restrictions among provinces in order to contain the spread of the 3rd wave of the COVID-19.
