Three returnees tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 had identified three positive cases by this morning.

All of them were those who had returned to the country from overseas.

Accordingly, two from Lebanon who were being quarantined at the Punani Quarantine Centre and a maritime security person who was being quarantined at Nipuna Boossa Quarantine Centre were those who had tested positive for Covid-19 by this morning.

Further, another 6,882 persons are currently in quarantine at 75 tri-forces operated quarantine centres.

Another two COVID-19 positive patients who had made a complete recovery had been released from hospital by this morning.
