Technical committee recommends schools start in October

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The technical committee appointed to look into the possibility of starting schools has made recommendations that schools with less than 200 children could start in October.

The committee met this morning under the chairmanship of the Director General of Health Services.

The technical committee set up by the Presidential Task Force met at the Ministry of Health this morning to look into the possibility of opening schools.

Officials from the Ministry of Education, the Institute of Pediatricians, Specialists from the Institute of Epidemiology, the Officers of the Family Health Bureau and the Government Medical Officers’ Association participated.
