(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has decided take stern disciplinary measures against one of its Pradeshiya Sabha Members in Thanamalwila, R. A. Ranaweera who were arrested and remanded for molesting a 13-year-old child.
Ranaweera has been suspended from all party activities and the SLPP has urged the Authorities to conduct an impartial and prompt investigation into the alleged predatory incident.
Ranaweera and 4 others, who were arrested for molesting the child, have been remanded till 16 April after being produced in Court.
