Sri Lanka’s first death of a doctor due to COVID

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A 31-year-old doctor has become the country’s first doctor to die after contracting the novel coronavirus.

Dr. Gayan Danthanarayana who had contracted COVID-19 had been receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.
