Sri Lanka records its 20th COVID-19 death

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka has recorded its 20th death related to COVID-19, the Department of Government Information (DGI) stated today (31).

The DGI stressed that a PCR Test (Polymerase Chain Reaction) on a patient who died at the National Hospital in Colombo yesterday (30) has confirmed that the patient had the Virus.

The 54-year-old woman had been admitted to hospital on 29 October after suffering from an illness. She died while receiving treatment yesterday and a PCR Test later confirmed she had the Virus.
