(UTV | COLOMBO) – A special debate will be held in Parliament today over the present situation in the country.
The motion will be tabled by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
The increase in prices of consumer goods, the fuel crisis, the country’s economy and the security situation will be taken up for debate.
Chief Opposition Whip Parliamentarian Lakshman Kiriella said the debate will get underway between 11am and 5:30pm.
