(UTV | COLOMBO) – Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena received the Supreme Court’s determination on the Colombo Port City Economic Commission draft Bill today, Speaker’s media unit said.
The decision of the Supreme Court is scheduled to be presented to Parliament on the 18th by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
Accordingly, the decision regarding the debate on the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Draft Bill will be taken at the forthcoming Committee on Parliamentary Business meeting.
The Committee on Parliamentary Business chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena held on the 04th of May decided not to hold
The debate on the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill scheduled for May 05 was postponed as the Parliament had not received the determination of the Supreme Court.
