(UTV | COLOMBO) – Governor of the Southern Province Dr. Willy Gamage has stated today(02) that he was confirmed to have been infected with the COVID-19.
It is reported that he will leave for the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Colombo this morning (02) for further treatment.
The Governor of the Southern Province stated that he was in self-quarantine as his private secretary was infected with the COVID19 and a PCR test conducted has confirmed that he has also contracted the virus.
