(UTV | COLOMBO) – Minister of Transport Service Management and Minister of Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera directed the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) officials to inspect all super luxury buses deployed for passenger transport services along the Southern Expressway.
Amaraweera issued this directive after taking into consideration the incident in which a new super luxury bus recently added to the existing fleet on the Southern Expressway was destroyed after catching fire on 01 March due to a technical fault near Imaduwa in Kokmaduwa.
