(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Samagi Jana Balawegaya has decided to donate the salaries of its MPs to a fund to purchase necessary medical equipment.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has decided to donate these salaries to the Member’s Fund which was set up earlier.
The Opposition Leader stated in a Facebook post that the measure was taken in view of the current COVID-19 situation in the country.
The Parliamentarian previously pointed out that the Government itself has no vision regarding the future of the country.
