(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Samagi Jana Balawegaya questions the government as to how it imported Nitrogen fertilizer into the country, after publishing a Gazette Notification banning the importation of Chemical fertilizer.
Speaking to media at the Office of the Opposition Leader, Parliamentarian Hector Appuhamy accused the government of deceiving the people and prolonging the fertilizer shortage.
He said the current rulers are solely responsible for the destruction of the country’s future, by creating a fertilizer mafia.
The MP also stressed that he believes Sri Lanka has been cursed through the blood of the innocent after the Easter Sunday Attacks in 2019.
He claimed that foreign forces were influencing the government to follow their directives, and do their bidding.
