(UTV | COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Southern province and in Kaluthara district, stated the Meteorology Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm may occur at some places in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Northwestern provinces and in Mannar district.
A few showers are likely in the Northern and Eastern provinces during the morning too.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
