(UTV | COLOMBO) – Private bus workers along the 100 Colombo- Panadura, 101 Colombo- Moratuwa, and 183 Nugegoda-Panadura routes have launched a strike.
President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association Gemunu Wijeratne said workers are protesting over an incident where a group had attacked buses plying along the Galle road with black oil.
A driver of the Colombo-Matugama bus driver was attacked yesterday and subsequently, workers of another bus route had been apprehended over the incident.
