(UTV | COLOMBO) – Seven individuals including a four-month-old infant have returned positive COVID-19 PCR test results, in Maskeliya.
The Maskeliya Medical Office of Health said the mother and father of the infant and four others were among those who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The group was linked as second tier contacts of associates of positive cases reported from the Peliyagoda Fish Market.
Health units stated that the group has been directed to treatment facilities.
