(UTV | COLOMBO) – Steps have been taken to disinfect all schools which were used as polling centres and counting centres for the 2020 General Election.
The Ministry of Health said several Technical Colleges were also utilised for the Parliamentary Polls, apart from schools.
The Health Ministry accordingly assured that all relevant premises will be disinfected under the supervision of Regional Medical Officers of Health.
