(UTV | COLOMBO) – All Government Schools and Government approved Private Schools across the country will have a holiday from Monday (4) to July 8th, inclusive of both days.
The decision was made during a discussion held among officials of the Ministry of Education, Provincial Education Secretaries, and Provincial Education Directors after reviewing the attendance of principals, teachers, and students in the schools during the last two weeks.
The Ministry of Education noted that the missing school time during the relevant week will be covered during the upcoming school holidays.
