(UTV | COLOMBO) – The decision to increase the daily wage of estate workers to Rs. 1,000 has been approved at 2 sessions of the Wages Board, the Minister of Labour Nimal Siripala de Silva said.
The Minister said the directive will be sent to the Government Printer today (02) to be Gazetted within 2-days.
