Rishad appeals to President and Prime Minister

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC), Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen today (26) strongly condemn the act of the Officials attached to the Mahara Prison who have utilised an ancient Mosque as a Buddhist Temple placing a statue of Lord Buddha.

Former Minister stated that “It is extremely against the fundamental rights of the Muslim community, and requested President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to take expeditious action against all those who were involved in this illegal act and uphold the Constitutional ethics of this democratic Country.”
