(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Government has decided to recruit retired nursing staff on contract basis for service.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (09) advised Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi to recruit retired nursing staff as required, on contract basis for service once again to face the challenges posed by hospitals under the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rajapaksa also instructed to grant short term training courses to more nurses to engage in the services in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
