(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Health Ministry has introduced a Mobile Application (App) named ‘Supariksha’ to register individuals who undergo Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Rapid Antigen Tests.
Individuals will be able to register via the App from today (11).
The App was launched by Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
The details of persons undergoing PCR Tests will be fed into the App and the test results will be updated on it by the relevant Laboratory.
COVID-19 positive cases will be immediately referred to the relevant Medical Officer of Health (MOH), and the person undergoing the PCR Test will also be informed of his or her result by way of a short message.
