Registration of foreign companies to resume from today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The suspension on registration of foreign companies in Sri Lanka will be reversed from today (11).

The Registrar of Companies last month temporarily suspended the Incorporation of foreign owned companies in the country until further notice.

However, no reason was given in the notice issued by the Registrar.

Foreigners were able to incorporate companies in Sri Lanka provided the activity is not on a negative list for foreign investment.
