(UTV | COLOMBO) – Refrain from organising religious activities that gather people considering the COVID-19 situation in the country, the Chief Prelate of Malwathu Chapter said.
Issuing a message to mark the Vesak Poya Day today (26), Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Nayaka Thero advised the people to engage in meritorious deeds while staying at home.
He emphasised that this is needed for the wellbeing of all people during this pandemic period.
