(UTV | COLOMBO) – “UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has agreed to represent the UNP as a MP in the Parliament as per an appeal made to him by the UNP Working Committee. We expect this to happen very soon,” UNP General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara speaking at a meeting of UNP members said.
He said that many Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) members were seeking the membership of the UNP and many supporters of the SJB from Ratnapura, Badulla and Kegalle Districts have already joined the UNP.
