(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology predicts several spells of showers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island.
It added, strong winds of about 50kmph can be expected at times over the western slopes of the Central hills, North and North-Central provinces and in the Trincomalee district.
