Public requested to refrain from engaging in pilgrimages, trips

The general public is requested to refrain from engaging in pilgrimages, tours, and trips even within the country in the upcoming 2 weeks.
Secretary to the Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs Bandula Harishchandra stated that this request is made to reduce the risk of infection, considering the current situation in the country over COVID-19.
