Public behaviour vital to reopen country

(UTV | COLOMBO) – If the people were able to stay at home during the existing traffic restrictions, it will be possible to open the country in some way after 14 June, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He said the decision to reopen the country is in the hands of the people and the people should abide by the quarantine regulations and provide maximum assistance to the health sector.

He also urged people not to leave the house for any reason other than essential work.
