(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Parliamentarian Arjuna Ranatunga has called for the government to conduct a stringent investigation into how the Chairman of Avant Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi, incurred billions in funds.
Ranatunga speaking to media refuted all allegations levelled by Senadhipathi against him.
He charged that Senadhipathi had pocketed funds earned by the government, adding other senior Army and Navy officials were penalised for his wrongdoings.
Ranatunga claimed that he would reveal a comprehensive report on Nissanka Senadhipathi’s dealings, as he was well aware of the matter.
He reiterated calls for accumulated funds to be probed, urging the President to crack down on the corrupt.
