(UTV | HAMBANTOTA) – Authorities have commenced an inquiry into the selfie taken by the Parliamentarian Harshana Rajakaruna featuring imprisoned Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake at the Angunukolapelessa Prison.
Accordingly, that State Minister of Prison Management and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation Lohan Ratwatte has directed the Department of Prisons to commence the inquiry into matter and into the professional conduct of the Prison Officer who had been on active duty at the time.
Rajapakaruna had visited Ramanayake at the Angunukolapelessa Prison yesterday (08).
