Private bus owners to withdraw from services tomorrow

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Private Bus Owners’ Association has decided to withdraw from transport services across the island tomorrow (May 06).

Addressing a media briefing this morning, the chairman of the association Gemunu Wijeratne said they will be compelled to suspend their services in the coming days as well. “We cannot operate buses without fuel. There is a shortage of diesel at filling stations.”
