Price of a cube of sand increased to Rs. 8,000

(UTV | COLOMBO) – According to the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, about 75% of construction work in the country has come to a standstill due to the increase in construction materials compared to fuel prices.

At present, the price of a cube of sand alone has gone up by Rs 8,000, said its vice-president MD Paul.
