(UTV | COLOMBO) – Power outages have been reported from several areas due to the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the country.
Power interruptions have been reported from Avissawella, Homagama, Kalutara, Padukka, Ratnapura and Nuwara Eliya, the Ministry of Power and Energy stated.
The measures have been taken to promptly restore power supply, the Ministry stressed, adding that the power interruptions will not affect the counting of ballots in the aforementioned areas.
